Tell Me Why You Talk To Me!

I created this blog ages ago, but it was a blog in name only. I couldn't make up my mind about what I should blog about, so I put off adding content until now. I've finally come to a decision though and I'm quite pleased with my decisiveness. Even though it took me close to eight months to reach this decision. I've decided to use this blog as a substitute for my journal, which I promised myself I would write in everyday, but somehow never got around to doing. I'm just no good at keeping promises to myself. Perhaps, it's because I'm too understanding when I break these promises. I need to be more unforgiving, but I like myself too much to give me a good scolding. That's where you, the unknown, but hopefully you exist, reader comes in to keep me from breaking my promise. Just the thought of someone out there being angry with me for not updating my blog will, hopefully give me the incentive I need to sit my ass down at the computer each week and write something. I'd hate to disappoint blog readers being one myself. After all writing is the art of applying the ass to the seat- at least according to Dorothy Parker. It worked for her so I'm hoping it will work for me. I'm determined to kick this spell of writer's block. Writing in any form on a regular basis will be good for me just to get in the habit.
